Ongoing Programs

  • Since 1990, more than 4,523 local children have received Christmas gifts, stockings, and hygiene items through this program. In 2024, 67 families and 167 children were helped. This was made possible by donations of gifts, money, and volunteer time from individuals and groups on the Divide, including ALT Golf Clubs and the Divide Women’s Club. We serve children from infants up to 18 years old in the Georgetown Divide.

  • We award scholarships to graduating seniors who have shown strong community service. We also give the Sarah Ann Gaffney (SAG) memorial scholarship to students pursuing medical careers. In 2025, we gave $4,500 in general scholarships and $1,000 total for two SAG scholarships.

  • The annual Auburn Lake Trails Golf Tournament, held on the ALT course, is a major fundraiser for our programs. The site began as pasture with a few farmhouses. Developers set aside land for a nine-hole golf course as part of Auburn Lake Trails’ recreation plans. Ken Anderson designed the course and Homer Flint, who built Spyglass and other notable courses, built it. Construction began in 1970 and it opened June 10, 1971. The course is nine holes because the regional plan already called for an 18-hole course nearby. To avoid duplication and offer more recreation, developers chose a quality nine-hole course plus space for an equestrian complex and greenbelts.

  • 5K/10K Run/Walk to benefit the Georgetown Divide food closets. For more than 13 years, we have proudly donated a total of $67,750 to support local families. In 2024 alone, $7,500 was contributed to help keep pantry shelves stocked.
