Our Impact: 35 Years of Adopt an Angel

What began as a simple wish to help one family has grown into a beautiful, community-wide mission to ensure no child in our district goes unseen.

The Heart of Our Mission

  • A Legacy of Care: Founded 35 years ago to support a neighbor in need, we have since come together to provide gifts, warm clothing, and essentials to over 4,500 children.

  • Our 2026 Reach: This past year alone, your incredible generosity touched the lives of 151 "Angels" across 68 local families, providing them with holiday joy, dignity, and a reminder that their community cares.

  • More Than Just Gifts: Beyond toys, we provide essential toiletry bags—a wonderful initiative originally started by the local Girl Scouts—to offer extra comfort and care to families during challenging times.

A Community-Wide Effort

Our work is only possible thanks to a vast network of dedicated, big-hearted partners:

  • School Partnerships: We work hand-in-hand with all six schools in the district, coordinating closely with secretaries, leadership teachers, and the FAST program to identify and support families who could use a little extra help.

  • The Power of Groups: Year after year, local bunco groups, book clubs, and workplaces like GDPUD and PG&E step up to "adopt" entire families.

  • Local Champions: From the Divide Women’s Group toy drives to the ALT Golf Club’s annual tournament, our local organizations truly provide the backbone of our funding.
